Capture the Flag

I was playing CTF last night and this is the second I saw this, the other time in Black Ops:

Both teams each won a round and is in Overtime. A guy on my team got the flag within the first minute, he makes it back to our flag area I was like yes, we won. BUT he just kept holding it and camps out in a corner. I didn't have my mic. But I totally didn't understand why he did that. In the first 10 seconds I thought he was making sure it was all clear. I even ran around to make sure it was clear. But he just kept camping in the corner with the flag. I don't get it...trying to run down the clock? Get more kills?
And then the stupid thing was that he got killed at the last 20 seconds and the opposing team returned their flag. I got the flag back, but time ran out before I got to our base, and the game ended in a Draw.

WTH?!

There's a lot of pretty dumb people out there... just make sure you're not one of them.

That's the dumbest thing I think he was trying to get the kill streak, just win it and move on.

At least we never have to deal with this. WARNING: bad language



I was laughing hysterically until I realized he was doing this to his own teammates.

Pineapple, that is really a funny video- even though he was doing it to his teammates. I think it's funny cuz the victims were cursing so much.

Anyways, after I finish Skyrim I'll try this on Battlefield.. LoL

after you finish Skyrim? it takes 300-500 hours to finish that game.

Exactly... in fact, I doubt I'll ever finish it.

This is a huge game. Buggy at times, but very addicting- if you like RPG type of games.

LOL, that video is sooo messed up but hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing for a while... mainly the reactions...

Josh, that guy probably thought that you have to hold on to the flag till game over. i remember reading something like that before mw3 came out that there was a variant on CTF where its like you have to capture flag and evade the opposing team instead of return flag to base.

Interesting, Steve, I've never heard or seen that variant of CTF til now.

The one I was playing wasn't that variant, cause I was running the flag back to base when the time ran out.

It's Team Defender, kind of like CTF but only one flag and both team fighting for it,that guy was probably confused.

Actually when I was playing Capture the Fag in Black Ops I've seen someone do the exact same thing TWICE.... so, yes.. most likely they were confused.
