Lag Fixed?

Judging from the games last night it seems like they fixed the lags.

Anyone think otherwise?

btw.. did anyone try turning off the Theater Mode to fix the lag? I read online that there's no difference and some say there is. Any comments?

I don't think it's fixed. Last night before you guys sign on I was playing with Aznfab, a guy on our team lags our whole team, I would get shot from behind and still able to turn around and shoot him. Then the next game we played against him and I was unable to get a shot.

We were playing fine until Killerpineapple showed up...

I think they did fix the lag because now Pineapple is the one suffering the most from the lags and not us. lol!

Time to upgrade that internet service... under $24/mo. for DSL ain't gonna cut it anymore.

Btw... Pineapple you should consider changing your wifi router to wired OR a faster unit (like the Airport Extreme) and not use the Airport Express.

I just got the Linksys E3000 router yesterday, it made my wifi connection so much more stable and faster. On sale now on Newegg for only $69 plus 1 year free replacement.

Turns out that I had less than 70% signal strength. So last week I moved my airport extreme downstairs, manually set-up port forwarding for MW3, maxed out the speed settings on the router, got 100% signal strength and...

...don't see any difference. Sad

It's not about the signal strength.

1) you got SLOW dsl... get it upgraded to at least the mid-tier plan.

2) you may have a lot of interferences around your ps3 or airport extreme

3) ps3 is only 802.11g and not 802.11n

just plug your dsl modem directly to your airport extreme and then directly to your ps3 AFTER you have upgraded your crummy dsl.

I was thinking of actually downgrading my dsl to take better advantage of lag compensation. Apparently my broad is still not slow enough that I can kill everyone. Plus I'll save $5 bucks a month. king

You probably should downgrade to using dial-up 9600 baud rate.

I probably have one of those dial-up modems lying around in my garage if you are interested.
