Weapon unlocks, Perks Reset

I haven't played much lately because my account is partially screwed up.

About a month ago after playing a local game, and then heading to the multiplayer section, a message came up saying something like "Your stats have been reset". My player stats were actually fine, but other things were messed up:

• Lost all unused tokens.
  
• Weapons, perks, wildcards I had unlocked with tokens already now require tokens again.
  
• My prestige awards were all gone - My two permanent unlocks and two extra Custom classes were gone. Back to original five custom classes.
  
• The "New" icon showed up in weapons, perks, wildcards, barracks etc.

I filled out an Activision support form they had put up specifically for this issue - apparently many others have had this problem.
I submitted it twice on different occasions, but they keep saying there's nothing wrong with my account. Then what do you call this?!
I posted on their FB page. Their response was to submit the form.
I did an online chat as well, but no results.

I prestiged again since then, hoping it clear it up, but nothing changed.

I haven't bought the new maps either - I might just wait for MW 4.

This had me freaked out since I hadn't played in about 2 weeks but everything seemed fine with my account.

You could always play Borderlands 2 while you wait for MW4.
