| I like the AK 74u with grip when I used my mouse setup. Because that way I can strife around people and shoot from the hip. Got tons of kills that way. However, I started to realize that tactic is only good for short range, close quarter combat.
Since I've gone back to Dual Shock now (yup ditched my mouse setup - not very smooth) - I'm finding that the Famas is pretty good. Feel like you are shooting bbs but still, the recoil is low - good for newbs like me.
I also like the Galil and Aug.
I still have figured out how to use the Ak and Commando.
Ultimately my favorite is the m14 with grip! On the days that I can aim, I love picking people off with two shot kills and hip fire from close range! Takes skilz...which I don't have...but still it's fun... | |

| Try AK47 very powerful gun even with suppressor that's what I use the most, fast kills without too much recoil. the most recent update they nerf the ak74 so it's not as easy to kill as before so try to stay away from that. Famas is good too most players use that now, Commando is also a good gun. | |

| Ric, what is your typical loadout for the ak47? Light weight, sleight of hand and marathon? | |

I use ghost, sleight of hand, and hacker against experienced players, flak jacket and last stand for small maps. | |

| For the first time I played the commando and ak47 extensively last night. I'm loving the commando right now!!!
It's pretty awesome. Ak47 is good but I feel the recoil is a bit harder to control.

| I use a silenced Commando with Ghost-Sleight-Marathon. Great set-up for stick and move or campnig style of play. This is the class I fall back on when I'm getting my butt handed to me. Better range than AK47. Not recommend for charging ahead with it though since it isn't as powerful. | |
